About Bradley

I'm Bradley Thomas and I'm proud to have been elected as the Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove and the Villages.

Worcestershire born and bred, this County is my home and it is the honour of my life to serve you in Parliament and I intend to repay the trust residents have placed in me.

The natural environment, a loving family and excellent local state schools gave me a great start in life, instilling a strong work ethic, sense of community and personal responsibility which motivated my political career to promote and defend our way of life, communities and their interests.

Before becoming your MP, I worked in global energy, immersing myself in one of our most critical challenges: delivering energy security and affordable, reliable power that drives prosperity and lowers bills.

I also served as a councillor between 2014 and 2024 and served as Leader of Wychavon District Council for five years from 2018 to 2023 during which time I delivered real results for residents including: freezing council tax for a total of 6 years, £28 million invested over 6 years delivering jobs, new sport and leisure facilities, £1 million invested to get rough-sleepers off the streets, providing them with accommodation and support to rebuild their lives, delivering design codes that set new minimum standards for housing and enhancing our environment and reducing carbon emissions and protecting our way of life.

My focus as your MP will be on delivering results and I have a plan to achieve that. But I also have a crucial role to play in holding the new government to account – something I have been tasked to do by my constituents.

My priorities as your MP are:

  • A strong economy, supporting businesses, attracting investment to creates jobs, driving skills that will power the economy of the future. This includes the role that technology will play in harnessing innovation and the impact that this will have on our social fabric

  • Financial sustainability delivering quality public services supported by an efficient, low tax base. Individuals know best how to spend their money not the state

  • Controlled immigration that supports British society without burdening taxpayers or public services

  • Investing in our town and village centres to make them fit for the future with new retail options, a thriving night-time economy and leisure options that boost tourism

  • Preserving our environment for future generations to come by reducing carbon emissions in a way that doesn’t burden working people with the cost or deindustrialises our country.

  • Promoting and protecting rural communities, supporting British farmers and strengthening the rural economy

  • Protecting the greenbelt whilst delivering beautifully designed new homes that all can be proud of

  • Promoting British interests including freedom of expression and trade against threats from hostile states

I will be an MP for everyone across our wonderful constituency, whether you voted for me or not. If there’s anything I can do to help then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

In October 2024, I was elected to the Energy Security and Net Zero Select Committee. As part of the Committee, Bradley scrutinises the policy, spending and administration of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero and its public bodies, including Ofgem and the Committee on Climate Change.

Following my election to the Energy Security and Net Zero Select Committee, i was subsequently appointed to serve as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Shadow Energy Security and Net Zero team by the Leader of the Opposition in November 2024.

In January 2026, I was unanimously re-adopted to stand as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Bromsgrove and the Villages at the next general election.

I'll will be seeking re-election as the Member of Parliament at the next general election in order to continue delivering on my plan for Bromsgrove and the Villages.

Since I was first elected in July 2024, I have voted to cut taxes for people and businesses, he’s voted for a legal annual immigration cap, and he’s voted to reduce the welfare budget to ensure hard work always pays.

As the MP, I've led the fight back against the Labour government’s 85% increase in Bromsgrove and the Village’s housing target.

I've been and continues to be an accessible MP by holding regular surgeries, coffee mornings and Meet Your MP events to ensure as many residents as possible can meet with and speak to their MP.

I'm also one of the most active MPs in the House of Commons.
