A car park.

Conservative-led Bromsgrove District Council has launched a new online system to report issues encountered in the district’s car parks.

The system is designed to make it easier and quicker for residents and visitors to flag up any problems they encounter whilst using council owned car parks.

This will help the Council respond more efficiently and keep local car parks safe, accessible and well maintained. Issues that can be reported include potholes or damaged surfaces, broken fencing, faulty lighting, damaged signs or line markings, and other safety or maintenance problems.

Similar to other, existing reporting tools, such as fly tipping, it is accessible through the Council website here: www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/reportcarparks and users can identify issues, provide details and locations and submit a report that will go directly to the relevant team for action.

Leader of the Council, Cllr Karen May, said:

“This new online reporting system is a simple but important step in helping us look after our car parks properly, ensuring they are well maintained and fit for everyday use. When people flag issues quickly, our teams can get on with fixing them before they become bigger problems. It’s all part of making sure our public spaces stay clean, safe, and reliable for everyone, and as set out in our Council Plan, we’re focused on practical improvements that genuinely help residents."

Residents are encouraged to use the new service whenever they encounter an issue in one of the Council’s car parks, helping keep the district’s facilities in the best possible condition.
