At last night’s Council meeting (Jan 23rd) Bromsgrove District Council voted cross-party to adopt the Motor Neurone Disease Charter, an initiative from the Motor Neurone Disease Associationt that sets out a statement of the respect, care and support that people living with motor neurone disease (MND) and their carers deserve, and should expect.
Mr Javid visited the Lucy Faithfull Foundation on August 10 to open its new base at Harris Business Park in Stoke Prior, having moved from Alvechurch. As well as performing a ribbon-cutting, the MP met with senior managers and trustees to learn about its work.
Local councillors have welcomed the news that the long-awaited upgrades to Bromsgrove Station, bringing significant changes in connectivity between Bromsgrove, Redditch, Barnt Green and Birmingham, remain on track for a July completion.
Wythall Conservative Councillors Adam Kent and Geoff Denaro are inviting residents to an emergency advice forum on Friday 15th June between 5pm and 7pm in the aftermath of the recent devastating flash floods. The floods hit on Sunday 27th May affecting close to 300 homes.
