Bromsgrove Council adopts Motor Neurone Disease Charter

At last night’s Council meeting (Jan 23rd) Bromsgrove District Council voted cross-party to adopt the Motor Neurone Disease Charter, an initiative from the Motor Neurone Disease Associationt that sets out a statement of the respect, care and support that people living with motor neurone disease (MND) and their carers deserve, and should expect.


Sajid Javid MP has announced the largest increase in police funding since 2010.


Total funding for policing in 2019/20 will rise by up to £970 million.


For Bromsgrove, and across West Mercia, this means up to an extra £16 million in 2019/20.


The plan to tackle housing in Bromsgrove district

Bromsgrove’s Conservative Councillors have announced that they are working on a plan to secure affordable homes for the next generation of Bromsgrove residents and develop a housing portfolio.  

Upgrades to Bromsgrove Station remain on track!

Local councillors have welcomed the news that the long-awaited upgrades to Bromsgrove Station, bringing  significant changes in connectivity between Bromsgrove, Redditch, Barnt Green and Birmingham, remain on track for a July completion.

Wythall Floods: Emergency Advice Forum

Wythall Conservative Councillors Adam Kent and Geoff Denaro are inviting residents to an emergency advice forum on Friday 15th June between 5pm and 7pm in the aftermath of the recent devastating flash floods. The floods hit on Sunday 27th May affecting close to 300 homes.
