Cllr Karen May.

Bromsgrove District Council are inviting all residents to have their say in the annual My Neighbourhood Survey for 2026.

The survey launches on August 10, giving people the opportunity to tell the Council about their experience of living, working, and spending time in their local neighbourhood. Feedback gathered through the survey will help to inform future priorities, decision-making, and service planning across the District.

In 2025 feedback received through the My Neighbourhood Survey (formerly known as the Places Survey) meant that investments were made in street cleansing equipment, fly tipping hotspots were identified and tackled, and new waste collection vehicles.

Leader of the Council, Cllr Karen May, said:

“Listening to residents is essential if we are to make informed decisions about our communities. The annual My Neighbourhood Survey is your chance to tell us what is working well, what matters to you, and where you would like to see change. The more people who get involved, the better we can understand the experiences and aspirations of those who live in our area.”

Closing on Monday, September 21st at 9am, the Council are keen to hear from a wide range of residents to ensure that results reflect the views and experiences of communities from across the District.

Community groups, local organisations, and businesses are being encouraged to help spread the word and encourage their networks to participate.

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete, and can be found here: https://www.bromsgrove.gov.uk/MyNeighbourhoodSurvey
