Flight attendant Kyle Daisley has pledged to “bring communities together” as he announces his candidacy for Bromsgrove South division. Kyle, who has lived in Bromsgrove District since the age of 3, has announced a campaign that will focus on resources for the communities within Bromsgrove South division – Charford, Aston Fields and the Stokes – and cohesion between residents and local groups.
Kyle says “I decided to stand for Bromsgrove South because I think there is so much more we could do for the people who live there. For me, if we bring communities together we can make the area a better place to live. I want there to be a voice for ALL people in the area: my brother lived for several years in Charford and the community there misses out. Because I was adopted, I’ve been someone who relied on the services from Worcestershire County Council and I know what it’s like from the other side.”
“There’s a lot going on in politics at the moment, and in all of this we mustn’t forget what really matters: the community here in south Bromsgrove. I’ll work with our schools, parish and district councils and charities and promote cohesion and sustainable communities. Let me show you what I can do for you.”
