There are many ways to become involved on a local or national level, either as a paid-up Conservative Party member or as a volunteer. You can help out with as much or as little time commitment as you would like - it all helps.

If you are interested in getting involved please click here.

Becoming a member

Members come in a variety of shapes and sizes. You can get involved in social events, attend political discussion meetings or become active with your MP or local Councillors. Some do all. Some choose what is right for them or what suits their busy lifestyles. All you need to be is Conservative leaning.

Some of the benefits of joining the party are being able to decide who represents the party in local, parliamentary and European elections; being given a vote in leadership elections and at Association AGMs. You are also able to attend Party Conference, which is held every year in the Autumn as well as regularly being held in Birmingham.

In addition, members will receive a membership card, regular email updates, invitations to a range of events with guest speakers including Cabinet Ministers and more, a chance to stand for election yourself and to choose who represents you. The Party membership fee is £25 a year or an amazingly attractive reduced sum of £5 a year if you are under 23 years of age.

Getting involved as a volunteer

With County Council elections being held in May 2020 Bromsgrove Conservatives are looking for volunteers to help out. There are great benefits to volunteering, including making new friends, gaining skills and helping to make a difference in your local community. Ways to volunteer vary from delivering leaflets and working on a street stall to helping with fundraisers. The amount and type of volunteering you would take part in is completely up to you.

If you are interested in volunteering click here and fill out the form. We will be in touch soon.
