Applications to stand as a Conservative candidate in the next Bromsgrove District Council elections are now open!
On Thursday 4th May 2023 residents of Bromsgrove will vote to elect their councillors at Bromsgrove District Council for the next four years. It is vital that Conservative councillors are elected so we can continue to deliver on our vision for Bromsgrove and level up across the whole district. In order to do this, we need exceptional, community-minded candidates. Are you interested in standing?
Could you become a councillor?
To be eligible you must be:
A British subject or a citizen of the Irish Republic and resident in the UK.
At least eighteen years old on the day you are nominated.
Either on the electoral register for Bromsgrove.
Or have lived or worked in Bromsgrove for at least the last twelve months.
Becoming a Conservative Party council candidate
To be nominated to stand as a Conservative Party council candidate, you need to be a member of the Conservative Party. For information on how to join the Party, please click here.
Once you are a member you can complete the attached selection form and return it via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Once your application has been accepted you will be required to go through a short approvals process to be selected as a candidate.
